Saturday, August 9, 2014 will be a day no one will soon forget. Over 200 women from around the Houston metroplex and the nation descended upon the NASA Johnson Space Center for an afternoon filled with inspiration, transformation and celebration, hosted by the Reverend Connie “CJ” Jackson. The day was jump started with a powerful prayer by Reverend April Hearn of Detroit, Michigan, followed by a high energy praise team consisting of Erica Wiley, Christie Brooks, Mellany Williams, Rechatter “Bird” Brady, and Shaun Flowers. These seasoned singers had the crowd on their feet.

Three phenomenal empowerment speakers: Co-Pastor Mia Wright of the Fountain of Praise (Houston), Senior Pastor Juanita Rasmus of St. John’s Downtown (Houston) and Rev. Arlicia Albert of Antioch Baptist Church (Beaumont) energized and motivated the attendees with personal and biblical relaunch testimonies.
One of the major highlights of the Relaunch Your Life Countdown party was Rev. Connie Jackson reading excerpts from her upcoming book. She shared how the Holy Spirit had downloaded to her the concept of integrating aeronautical and theological constructs to form the framework for Relaunch Your Life: How to Come Back from A Setback. From all indications by the crowd’s response, if her book had been available that day, she would have sold out!
This anointed afternoon culminated in a powerful prayer circle where every person was individually prayed for by the pastors and ministers present. Pastor Juanita Rasmus gave a closing prayer that sent us all to the next spiritual stratosphere.
